Still Miss Them to this Day

I remember as clear as yesterday when I heard Michael passed away. I was in San Juan Capistrano driving my Girlfriend’s Mercedes. I had to pull to the shoulder and actually cried. Never has been a group before or after that I enjoyed so deeply and that affected me so thoroughly. I saw my first Inxs video and heard The One Thing for the first time in 1983 (living in a snake pit at the time). Hooked for life. I love all of their albums - the instrumentation is perfect and to this day, unique. Michael’s voice could range from silk to razors. I hope to see you in Heaven, Michael, where we may all thank you for your music here and hear you sing again. By Saul2015

Childhood memories. By not usually a Taylor fan

1/2 of a great album!!

You’ll rarely hear them *sound* better than on this, their big tour de force. Actually, I never cared for the two biggest tracks on here: “New Sensation” and “Never Tear Us Apart” (memories of cheesy late-‘80s MTV theatrics) but the FANTASTIC stand-outs are “Devil Inside,” “Need You Tonight,” and “Mediate,” although “Wild Life” and “Kick” do have a good punch like Bruce Lee with razors on his shoes. The rest of the album just sounds like the noise they use these days in beer and Chevy Silverado commercials. Bottom Line: for me, personally? INXS, like U2, are insanely great — about half the time.
